STRATEGIC MARKETING MANAGER

A rare opportunity to shape the future of a standout rural brand

Netherwood Estate is an exciting, high-quality rural business that truly punches above its weight. With a strong and growing reputation, the Estate combines beautiful surroundings with a diversified portfolio that includes luxury holiday lets, creative flower-based workshops and intimate, small-scale events.

We are now seeking a Strategic Marketing Manager to work closely with the business owner to elevate our brand presence, grow awareness, and drive sales across our income streams. This is a rare and exciting opportunity in the area for a creative and strategic marketer who wants to make a tangible impact in a distinctive, values-led business.

The Role

This is a hands-on, ideas-driven role with real scope to shape direction. You will be responsible for managing and developing the customer-facing communications, translating our vision and values into compelling messaging that resonate with our audiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Increasing brand awareness and strengthening Netherwood Estate’s profile and reputation

  • Creating engaging, on-brand content across social media and use performance insights to refine and improve engagement and followers

  • Managing email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation and performance tracking

  • Supporting the promotion of holiday lets, workshops and events to drive bookings and sales

  • Working collaboratively with the business owner, while also being able to take ownership of ideas from concept through to delivery

  • Ensuring marketing activity is delivered cost-effectively, creatively, on brand and to a high standard

About You

You are a strategic and creative thinker who enjoys working in a collaborative environment but is equally comfortable taking initiative and responsibility. You bring energy, warmth and organisation to everything you do, and you enjoy being part of a close-knit supportive team.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience in a marketing role, with a strong focus on digital and social media

  • Experience creating, managing and analysing social media content and campaigns

  • A good understanding of brand, tone of voice and values-led communications

  • Familiarity with Mailchimp and email marketing best practice

  • The ability to think strategically while remaining practical and delivery-focused

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • A personable, flexible and proactive approach, with a genuine enthusiasm for creative businesses and rural enterprises

Working Pattern

We envisage this role as part-time (approximately 3 days per week), with flexibility around hours. Some of the role will need to be based on the Estate, but there is scope for hybrid working. This position could be particularly well suited to someone seeking flexibility around other commitments.
