John Piper In The Country - May & June

We are thrilled that our friends from Fifties Art will be hosting a major selling exhibition of the iconic 20th Century artist, John Piper, in the Garden Room at Netherwood Manor over the next few weeks. This will draw together a wide selection of his originals, prints and fabrics, focussing on his love of the countywide, in England and elsewhere.

Piper had a strong affinity with Herefordshire and the show includes a private collection of work and ephemera related to the local area, as well a many examples of his extraordinary ceramics.

The exhibition will be open between 10am-4pm on the following dates. If you should wish to visit outside these times, please contact richardturkington53@gmail.com who will be happy to help:

  • 31 May - 8th June

  • 19th-22nd June

Entry to the exhibition is free. The Netherwood Manor garden will be open for the National Garden Schemes during the weekends coinciding with this. So, if you’d like to see both at the same time, please check the dates! (see below for more details).
