TULIP MASTERY WITH POLLY NICHOLSON OF BAYNTUN FLOWERS

Join England’s foremost tulip expert, Polly Nicholson, for an immersive day in the wonderful world of tulips. Perfectly timed just before the start of the tulip planting season, Polly will guide you through every stage from bulb to bloom, to ensure a stunning display next spring and beyond.

She will share her passion and knowledge of tulips and demonstrate how you can get the most from growing them in herbaceous borders, naturalised in grass, in pots or in the cutting garden.

Polly holds the National Collection of historic tulips and will explain the joys of growing rare species and historic tulips, as well annual garden varieties.

You will have a planted terracotta pot and a signed copy of Polly’s book ‘The Tulip Garden’ to take home.

The day runs from 10am to approximately 3pm. It includes tea and coffee on arrival and a delicious two course garden-inspired lunch (with wine).
